Contractor counts savings with Levolux
State of the art products from Levolux have helped two tired ‘60s office buildings in Brentford get their groove back. As part of an overhaul to the aging façades of the 17 storey GW1 building and its (11 storey) GW2 counterpart, Levolux solar shading Fins were ideally suited to make the structures and their tenants the coolest cats in town.
Specified by EPR Architects, the series of extruded, 200x50mm box section aluminium Fins were pre-treated with Keronite. This is a new non-toxic, eco-friendly product that can be safely poured down the drain.
A polyester powder coating was then applied to provide a finish that works in harmony with the architectural structure, making them the talk of the town. Corrosion resistant, the Fins are virtually maintenance free and flexible enough in design to fit any structure, either new build or refurbishment.
Elsewhere, a tailor made decorative roof coping was installed with minimal disruption to operations, capping off the hugely successful makeover.
Every Levolux product is subject to rigid quality standards and designed for maximum aesthetics, performance and reliability. Backed up by three year warranty – part of Levolux’s design manufacture and installation package – the latest additions to the London suburb’s skyline will keep their youthful good looks for years to come.
