A range of high performance ventilation louvres from Levolux has provided London’s newly refurbished Empress State Building with the perfect solution to disguise unsightly plant and equipment whilst providing efficient ventilation.
A familiar landmark beside the Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre, the Empress State Building has been largely vacant for a number of years. Ranking as one the 20 tallest buildings in Britain, it required total modernisation to transform it into a state of the art business complex.
For the screening of the ground floor plant room and roof top machinery, architects Wilkinson Eyre, working with main contractor Bovis Lend Lease on behalf of client Land Securities, appointed Levolux.

The company provided its VLS75Z ventilation louvre system to screen the ground floor plant room and to create a cone shaped screen for the roof top plant.
