Levolux makes a 'Green' contribution
Recently refurbished green offices, occupied by the UK Green Building Council, benefit from a range of energy efficient products, including High Performance Roller Blinds, supplied and installed by Levolux, the UK's leading solar shading specialist.
The UK Green Building Council recently moved into the first floor of the Building Centre in central London, along with the Construction products Association. Levolux installed its chain operated 760SX High Performance Roller Blinds to provide effective control of light and glare levels for office workers. The Blinds feature an attractive, highly durable White Bronze screen fabric which maximises natural light and enhances glare control while still allowing an outside view.
Jason Gabb, Membership Development Officer at the UK Green Building Council, is very impressed with the performance of the blinds, commenting: "The Levolux blinds have improved our working environment by allowing us to control light and glare levels, which is particularly important in the afternoons as our windows are west facing".
The UK Green Building Council is recognised as a figurehead at the forefront of the movement towards a sustainable built environment and its new home will inspire other organisations to follow suit.
