Infiniti Aluminium Bespoke Fins

Working with Sir Robert McAlpine, Levolux developed a custom roof screening solution at the centre of a crystalline-shaped Pergola structure. The objective at 10 Fenchurch Avenue was clear – to obscure the view of the air conditioning plant and equipment on the roof within the confines of the overall roof garden design.

The solution developed by Levolux comprised more than 200 aerofoil-shaped fins (300mm x 56mm), set at a pitch of 577mm to form an aesthetically pleasing canopy, finished with a silver anodised coating.

To fast-track the installation process, the Levolux fin assemblies were manufactured off-site and were delivered to site as 52 trapezoidal-shaped panels. The pre-assembled panels were then lifted and fixed into position within a steel-framed Pergola structure measuring approximately 28m long by 17m wide.
